Variable property node doesn't work anymore

This code used to run in LV2012 without any problem. I tried it in LV2014 but it doesn't work anymore. 

There aren't no errors but now the write fields in variable properties doesn't change.

Any idea?

I haven't done much library scripting before, is there a method that needs to be called in newer version of LabVIEW that sync it back to the editor?  Does invoking a Save on the project after the change has been made fix it?

I tried to save project after create the variables but it doesn't work.

Does something change in editor in LV2014?
