Verision 7.1

Greetings,

I am a newbie to LabVIEW using 7.1.  I wish to you x^2 but can not find it (taking x and squaring it) in the math tables.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike and everyone else<

WOW!  What positve and fast response.  Mike that was what I was looking for and have found out that it is not available in 7.1, but wiring the two inputs on the multiply function will do what I want.

Thanks!!!

Hi Scamper,

While the x^2 (Square) VI is not available in LabVIEW 7.1, there is a VI called Power of X.vi (Found in the functions palette: Arith/Compare>>Numeric>>Logarithmic>>Power of X.vi). The inputs are X and Y and the output is X^Y, so just make Y=2 and you are set. I hope this helps!
