Very special issue with cRIO

"4.I orderd a Technical Sales Loaner. It should be here by tommorrow.

The C-Moduls don't show up in MAX, only at a LabVIEW-Project"

OOOOOHHHHH... I thought you had meant the modules didn't show up in the project. C-Series modules aren't supposed to show up in MAX. There's the problem.

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood... you were just pointing out to an above response that they were'nt supposed to show up. I got what you meant after looking at your screenshots. My apologies.

Cheers!

Actually i meant that the my C-Modul didn't show up in the project. But yes, C-Series-Modules aren't supposed to show up in MAX.

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood you, too, at the first read.

Finally I managed to connect to the C-Modul.

I opended the "Edge-Counter"-Example. When i added the Controller to the project LV automatically search for C-Moduls and found my NI9403.

The next Problem iss that "The compilation software is not installed"

I'm downloading Xilinx 14.4 right now.

One day later again the C-Modul can't be connected / detected.

The new C-Modul has arrived but can't be detected, too.

Hi Simon,

I don't know how hard you read my original post, but I think it's starting to look like you need to update firmware in the chassis itself as that appears to be the 1 constant you have here (you have changed all other SW drivers and HW modules from what I have seen). This is done from within MAX I believe. NI Technical support should be able to walk you through this process if someone doesn't post the process here!

Good Luck

James
