Video acquisition with webcam

Hi

I wish with Labview to make a digital acquisition and film my test during the same time (video acquisition by USB webcam)

Then when drawing datas on graph, i want to display the frame corresponding to the time given by cursor on graph in order to link frame with measured value

I don't want to use IMAQ because of prices.

And i need a sample rate of frame of 90 FPS.
Is it possible?
If no, what is maximum FPS reachable?

Thanks a lot for your  advice

I would say the framerate would be dependent on the camera/driver you are using.

There's been a lot of discussions on using inexpensive webcams for image acquisition. You might want to read through some of them so you have a better idea of the advantages and disadvantage of them.

Irene He make a great Vision package that you can download and try. http://www.hytekautomation.com/Products/IVision.html

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.
