Videre Stereo Camera and Labview

Hello!   I work with a group that is attempting to use Labview to control a Videre digital stereo camera system.  We are not having much luck.  Does anyone in the forum have experience working with these together (hopefully good experience...)?  Thanks!

I don't have experience with that particular camera but could probably try to help you out. What protocol does that camera support? And, what sort of difficulty are you facing with LabVIEW?

Thanks for the reply.  The Videre cameras are IEEE-1394 (firewire).  We are using NI IMAQ for 1394 to capture images from them.  However, the camera functions like exposure, brightness, and gain do not respond to changes attempted from IMAQ or from the Measurement and Automation Explorer.  It seems like IMAQ for 1394 is not calling the cameras functions correctly.

You might also want to update the firmware on the camera by contacting Videre's customer support.
