Virtual PC 2007 for VISTA & XP

Has anyone tried using Virtual PC 2007 on Windows VISTA to shell out to
Windows XP to run LabVIEW with NI-DAQ cards? I've heard that Virtual PC
2007 doesn't support USB so I'm worried it won't support plug-in DAQ cards
either.

Just to update: I didn't get a response to this so to be safe I setup my PC
to dual boot to either XP or VISTA. After setting up two partitions this
was fairly easy to do and I can still see each partition from either OS.

I'd still be interested to get a reply to my Virtual PC 2007 questions if
anyone knows more about it.

Hi Neal,

I think you have made a good choice by installing both operating systems. Virtual PC 2007 has not been fully tested with National Instruments DAQ boards so I cannot advise you whether the boards will function and if there are any incompatibility issues.

I am curious however why you want to work with XP and Vista together? Is there anything preventing you from working with just one of the two operating systems on a given PC?
