Visa Open

I've installed LAbview 7.1 on windows 7.

I use Hyperterminal on com1 for connecting on gsm modem and it's ok.

If i use Visa open from a vi I've the error 42: generic error.

Ant ideas?

First off, LabVIEW 7 is NOT supported on Windows 7, so there's no way to know if that's what's causing the error. Second, what version of VISA did you install? Is it compatible with Windows 7? Is it compatible with LabVIEW 7? Look at the README for the VISA version to see.

Finally, there are some of us that like error 42.
