Vision Acquisition Express vi stops

Hi,

I have some strange thing happening in my project. When I open main.vi, everything works well. That means I can see the analyzed camera image, which is the result of the Vision Assistant Express vi (script) where I have only one processing step, i.e. extract luminance. Further, I can stop the application (main.vi) and start it again, and again, etc.

Now here comes the problem. When I open the sub-vi where both Vision Acquisition Express vi and Vision Assistant Express vi are located (each in different state though), open the Vision Assistant Express vi, change nothing (press 'Cancel'), then the following appears:

When I run the main.vi again, then it keeps running without error massage and without any camera image nor frame rate (indicator on front panel) and becomes unresponsive to my 'quit' button. Therefore, I have to force quitting the appplication. Just to mention, I always connect everthing with the error line.

A little debugging leads me to the Vision Acquisition Express vi. This vi apparently runs only once (I get one image as output, however no frame rate) and then after that it keeps running but gives no error message.

I hope someone can help me with this. For reproducing the issue, please:

1. open VT; Main.vi en run once.

2. open VT; PRCS; IO.vi, open Vision Assistant Express vi (inside 'AnalyzeImage' state) and press cancel to close.

3. run VT; Main.vi again.

PS in Vision Acquisition Express vi I selected my Basler USB3 camera with continuous acquisition and the frame rate as indicator.

I hope someone can help me with this.

Kind regards,

DvdM
