Apologies for the fairly general question. I have recently started using Vision Acquisition using FLIR's Blackfly S camera's. Using the examples I have managed to capture video and single JPEG images. At present we use a separate camera for each function. We are looking to upgrade to one of FLIR's Oryx cameras which use 10GigE and are a lot more expensive. I would like to know if anyone else uses this camera with LabVIEW successfully, and specifically; will it be possible to capture video and still images simultaneously? As an end result I would like to have a 10 minute H.264 video saved, and high res JPEG images taken and saved every 5 seconds. I'm not sure if the camera will let any API actually do this, but in trying to save costs, doing it all with one camera would be great. If anyone has experience with LabVIEW doing something similar, I'd love to hear your experience.
