Volume control of remote pc

Hello everyone, our setup consist of a pxi chassis and pxi pc that control the ate station, and we access this pc via remote desktop. For alert of system we insert a "beep" that works fine if the remote pc is high volume, but if don't it doesn't sense to have a beep that no listen. I found this resource that is very helpfull, but i don't no odea to implement to control the remote pc volume. Someone have any idea? Of course that code needs to run on the remote PC, but you did not say what OS you are running on the chassis. It has no meaning for the volume setting of the remote PC. Maybe just leave a sticky note, reminding users not to adjust the volume. 

Maybe you could use one of the digital output to control a siren external to the chassis? 😄
