I just tried it out and ctrl+E did not work but ctrl+(period) did work.  Now I know!  Thanks guys!

Yeah we just love our shortcuts.  hmmm no one mentioned Menu>>Operate>>Stop VI.  which is enabled even with the toolbar hidden (if the show abort button property is true)
