PK Technology has been at the forefront of optical fiber measurement
technology for over 15 years. Currently, we have the following opportunity
available at our Beaverton facility.
VALIDATION ENGINEER
In this role, you will design, develop and implement hardware and software
methods for verifying that products under development conform to engineering
specifications and customer requirements. You will provide analysis and
recommendations to the design team on the testability of designs and on
results of testing.
You will need a BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science, o
r related
field, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training. A
minimum of two years' relevant experience in the design and development of
product tests is required. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal
communication, as well as problem skills required. Must have the ability to
recognize cause and effect relationships and develop test methods that
provide data that helps design engineers identify the root cause of defects.
Ability to schedule, plan, and prioritize your work in accordance with the
goals of Product Development, conduct effective meetings and work
effectively as a member of our development team. LabView experience is
required. Visual Basic and Visual C++ development is a plus.
