I have a waveform chart on my front panel that displays multiple waveforms. These waveforms have different scales--one is ~10, another is ~0.0001--so the y-axis labels are different lengths. As the values change, sometimes the y-axis value labels change sizes. This would be fine except that the plot area also resizes itself, and because these changes can sometimes go back and forth quite rapidly it can be nearly impossible to see the plot in some situations.
I thought that the plot area might just be resizing to fit the wider y-axis labels, but even after giving it plenty of space, the same thing happens. I'm confused by this because, when I manually resize the plot area in edit mode, the little, blue, square, resizing handles are all within the plot area, but when the program is running it's like there is some box that has to fit both the plot area and the y-axis label.
Is there a way to change this? I want the plot area to remain a fixed size, and if the y-axis label needs to resize it will just extend toward or retract from the left side without changing the entire display.

I was also very annoyed by this behavior, but I have finally found how to turn it off!
