Wavelets

Hello

i was working with the wavelet . while doing so i came across an example wavlet based ECG signal dectection  in which the signal generated is a sinc like wave. and then peaks and valleys are dectected. in  this example there is one peak value and multiple velleys around that peak value and similar is the case with second Sinc signal. i want to detect only the two points around the sinc signal peak so that i can find the bandwidth of the signal. any logic any idea......?.(again on the basis of peak i want to deect the two velly points to find out the bandwidth of the signals present)

Regards

Madd

Hi madd,

Please search the discussions on our Life Sciences board here:   http://forums.ni.com/ni/board?board.id=LifeScience

Also - there are some good postings and references on this subject at our Biomedical User group located here:  http://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/biomedical-user-group

thanks,

This Developer Zone article has a very detailed description about using wavelets to extract features in an ECG waveform:  http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6349
