Weak signal filtering

I have to filter a signal of amplitude of about 0.2 Volt. It consists of noise and line pickup. How to do it? Is software filters are sufficient or I have to design a hardware filter?

It depends on your signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the useful signal's property. You can attach some samples here, and let us have a look, then I'm sure suggestions will come.

What kind of sample do you want?

anyway, the output signal is nothing but a .2v signal having ripples on it. And line pickup....

If you have at least the full version of LabVIEW there are several software filtering options available in the Signal Processing category. You can configure your cutoffs and the order of the filters and choose between the different filter types. The choice between hardware and software would depend on your signal and needs.
