WebVI Issues with Firefox Update

Hello,

We are hosting a few WebVI applications that display charts of production values or temperature history. Since the recent Mozilla Firefox (version 74.0) update, we are experiencing issues with our charts. However, these charts are working perfectly normal with the Google Chrome application.

Google Chrome

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any solution to this?

Unfortunately, there is a WebVI incompatibility with the latest version of Firefox. R&D has investigated the issue and it is a problem on the WebVI side. There's no known end-user workaround.

Until NI provides a patch or a new version of NXG with the fix, we recommend that you use other browsers.

I apologize for the inconvenience!

Thank you for your help!
For now I suggest utilizing Google Chrome as a workaround to this issue; if anyone else is wondering.

At least you have a definitive answer, even if it's not the ideal one.  This way, at least you know what the issue is, and how to work around it.  🙂

We checked today with Firefox 76.0.1 and it is working as intended!

Again, thanks for the help!

Additionally, we have released a LabVIEW NXG Web Module 4.0.1 patch with a fix for this problem from our side that will mitigate the risk of this breaking again in the future. This fix is also available in LabVIEW NXG 5.0.

See LabVIEW NXG Web Module 4.0 Bug Fixes for more detail.
