Zooming on a chart may be done with the zoom tools in graph pallet. These tools change the range properties of the graph. If you find that these do not do exacly what you want, you can programatically change the "X Scale Info" and "Y Scale Info" properties of a chart, to create a zoom or pan effect. You can create buttons that do various zoom/pan functions by writing to an attribute (property) node of your chart.
