What causes LV project to open "dirty" Version 2012

This is happening to me in version 12.0f3 32-bit on Windows.

Dozens of my dependencies (my own vi's) appear and disappear from the project file through the various saves. The files that appear or disappear are not involved in actual dependency changes in my code. The most annoying part is that my source code control sees the differences and wants me to check in the changes.

This happens in both projects I work in regularly. I can't confirm or deny that it happens in other projects. The projects were new when I extracted the vi's from llb's with LV 2010 or thereabouts.

Hi Les__Bartel,

When you say "appear or disappear", are you referring to the files on disk, or the vi's included in the project?  Does it pop up with the dependency search window that tries to find the files on disk?

When you save a new version of the project, which save option do you use?  (Copy, Rename, Duplicate file and contents)?

What program are you using for source control?  It sounds like the source control program might be moving files around.

The files remain on disk. I save in the latest version (just the ctrl-S save, not save as previous version, nor copy, nor rename, etc.). No dependency search when opening the project. I'm using Bazaar and have not had any problems with it. The Bazaar diff command shows that the files are added and removed from the project file.

Hi les,

I'm not very familiar with Bazaar, but perhaps you might ping one of the forum members who has used the software before:
