What do the labview installers put onto Windows operating system

I was curious to see where and what labview installers are putting onto my system. I've been having some problems and solutions depending on the order I run some of my installers.

That depends upon what options you have set, and what "labview installers."

Are you installing LabVIEW, or have you created a VI in LabVIEW and made an installer for it?

Installing LabVIEW could also install NI-VISA --> which would over-ride Agilent VISA if it is also installed.

But rather than guessing, could you please tell us what kind of problems you are having?

I'm installing a VI using labview installers for the vi. I'm seeing different results running the vi on different computers. Some of which had different vi's installed in different orders. I'm trying to eliminate the notion that the order of installing vi's onto a machine makes a difference. If the installers wrote to system files isn't it possible that they could create a problem?

The VI's installers could install runtime versions of LabVIEW - with different options. Some may be just basic, others may have the 3-D graphs, etc.

If these computers do not have full LabVIEW development systems on them, then they need the runtime libraries. They could be confused. I don't know enough details about LabVIEW to say for sure.
