What driver package should i install to use serial ports

I just want to use a serial port. But the Labview installation doesnt install serial port drivers. What is the smallest package that will install serial port drivers ?

you can just install the VISA runtime engine.

You need NI-VISA.

If you are using a serial port interface card/unit then you also need NI-Serial.
