What has the latest development been integrating or using a ethernet packet sniffer with labview

I have seen some examples showing suggested implementation using wireshark and WinPcap.  Besides that or in addition to that is anyone using any other methods?

Hello Scott,

You can definitely use the TCP/IP VIs that ship with LabVIEW to read and write packets using the TCP/IP protocol. However, there is no LabVIEW-based ethernet packet sniffer that is developed and supported by National Instruments, as far as I know. Of course, there could be third-party sniffers that have been developed using LabVIEW.
