Just wait til you get the NDA preventing you from talking about the NDA 😮 😮

The first rule of a NDA is that you don't talk about NDA. 😉

Some time ago I have heard about an upcoming new LV release will have the option to create 3D block diagrams. NI would also sell 3D glasses alongside with the LV install disks. Just wait for the NI Knights, from then they will often post in the forum: "clean up your BD cube man!"

As an additional add-on, there would be a 4D version too, codename: "LabVIEW Hypercube".

Sounds that you read that on April 1st.....

@Op: You can enroll on LV Betas so for the future, this might be an option for you to know beforehand whats going to be new. However, if you are applied to a beta, you also fall under NDA and mustn't tell others... like in this post 😉

Just imagine the race condition possibilities with a bunch of Locals in a Hypercube ...

There is a picture somewhere of the LabVIEW developers watching a running VI with 3D glasses on.  I want to say it was with LabVIEW 3 or 4 (whenever color entered into the picture).

Anyway, all these 3D ideas are just practically useless until we do not have a direct human brain-machine interface. It is the 21st century, and I still need to use a mouse...pffff 🙂

I BELIEVE that NI at one time acquired a patent on 3D digrams.
