I am using Labview 8.6 and the problem still exists.

What versions of NI-845x and NI-VISA do you have?

 

Try grabbing tha latest versions:

NI-845x

NI-VISA

I finally used a constant and now my standalone exe is working. Thanks to everyone who replied
