Where is VISA run time engine in new LV 7.1 from August?

Hello All
Can somebody help me locating run time engine to VISA in the new LV7.1 from August 2004?

Hello Pawel

The Run-time engine is not related to the LabVIEW version you are using on your executable but the NI-VISA driver version you are using in LabVIEW on your executable. So if you are using the newest version of NI-VISA in LabVIEW 7.1 which is version 3.2 you would have to install VISA Run-time engine 3.2 on the target machine.

Hello mohadjer.

I know where to find VISA in WEB, but I want to locate it on the CD sent by NI to its custommers in the newset release.

Hi again Pawel

Okay, then you would have to use the Device Driver CD which Installs the NI-VISA driver. The Device Driver CD also installs the VISA Run-time engine!

If you only want to install the VISA Run-time engine you only have to choose the the VISA Run-time support when the option tree is shown for the Deivce Drivers.
