Where ist the program for testing the ni-card?

I found out that LabVIEW includes a program which can be used for testing the National Instruments card(AT-MIO-16E-10). But I can´t find it in the whole LabVIEW-program. So can you tell me please where I can find it? I need this information to control the function of the AD-converter.
sincerely yours

Hi Angela,

The program you're looking for is MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer). MAX is a separate tool and it's not icluded in LV. MAX is the tool for configuring and testing NI boards. Just select your board in MAX and open the Test Panel. You can then test the functionality of the board.
Another, easier option is to use the "E Series Diagnostic utility" which you find here: http://www.ni.com/support/selftest/

This tool test the whole functionality automatically for E-Series boards.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
your answer helps.

But I can´t use the "E Series Diagnostic utility" because I have no chance to use the World Wide Web on the computer which comprised this card.
So I have to use the MAX.

MAX and NI-DAQ came with your LabVIEW distribution and the data acquisition board, so all you should have to do is install it. With LabVIEW 7, there is a separate CD for the hardware drivers. Once you've installed the software and verified the installation with MAX, then you use the DAQ functions in LabVIEW to control the board.
