Where the @#$% is my DaqMx TDMS VI

So I install 2009 with excitement and anticipation for using the new DaxMx write directly to TDMS VI that I saw at a symposium last week, and ...! ...! ...

NOTHING. Where'd it go?!?!

I don't know what specific VI that you're referring to, so I can't say for sure if it's distributed with LabVIEW or DAQmx. However, given that it apparently has something to do with DAQmx, I'd bet it's part of DAQmx, and if it is, you would need to install DAQmx.

Thanks for the link. The VI I am looking for is apparently in 9.0, and I only got 8.9 with the LV 2009 CD.

Yea, DAQmx 8.9.5 is the version that shipped with LabVIEW because the DVD's had to ship out right before 9.0 was ready.  Glad you got it all worked out.
