Which LabVIEW Development System do I need?

I have LabVIEW code that I received from a vendor, now my company needs to purchase a LabVIEW development system to run and edit the code.  We want to purchase the base version.  I know that the code was developed in the professional version but I am unsure if it actually uses any of the features that are not included in the base version.

Is there anyway of knowing if the code uses full or higher version features?

Thank you.

You can get the base version with the 30 day free trial and see if it works.

If you want to build EXEs of your source code, you'll also need to purchase the Application Builder unless you get the Professional Develoment version.  If you haven't looked at the comparison chart, you should look here.  The biggest potential hole is the math and analysis tools.  If the vendor used event structures, they may import into the base edition (they at least used to in older versions of LabVIEW), but the user event VIs probably won't.

If you need either of those, then you will need to at least get the Full version + App Builder if you want EXEs.
