Hi Frank,
I have used the TDM Excel Add-in with Excel 2007 and have gotten a dialog similar to the one you describe, except that for me it only showed up when I had over a million rows of data. So I can vouch for the TDM Excel Add-in handling the different row limitations of Excel cleanly.
My recommendation would be to uninstall your current version of the TDM Excel Add-in and install the latest version (2.0.1.1) from the following web site:

Thanks for the reply Brad. I checked my add-in version, by going to the excel 2007 add-in tab, and clicking on "about" on my TDM tool bar. It claims to be the latest (2.0.1.1). On the "root" tab of my workbook the length of my data is reported as 243000. I'm not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions would be appreciated! When you saw the dialog box did it say your data exceeded 65000 or 1000000 rows?

Here is what I have found...........
The trial version of Excel 2007 would open a file I created with 65000+ rows. It would not open a TDM file using the add-in that had more than 650000 rows. I got a copy of the full version of Excel 2007 and it opened the TDM file using the add-in with no problem.

Hi Frank,
If it is an issue with the trial software for Excel 2007, I would like to verify and document it. Where did you get a copy of the trial software for Excel 2007? I only have access to the full version. Thanks.

Frank,
I downloaded the trial version and installed it, but I was unable to duplicate the problem that you had. It's good that the full version of Excel took care of the problem though. I will try again to reproduce it, but I'm not sure how much success I will have.
