Which TDM Addin for Excel 2007?

I didnt have a problem opening up a sample spreadsheet file (Not a TDM file) I created using the trial version.........but I could not open a TDM file with more than 65K rows.  You were able to open a TDM file with more than 65K rows using the trial version?

Yes, I actually went to the link you directed me to and I installed it on another computer, along with the TDM Addin and was able to open a TDM file with more than 100K cells.

Hi Brad,

I tried to open the TDMS again, but somehow the TDMS plugin is not active anymore.
I can see the toolbar but it does not respond to any click. In the plugin-menu I don't see anything about it and the project browser of VBA for excel doesn't show anything.
This is in Excel 2000
Can you shine some light on this?

I think my problem is more with excel using too much RAM when opening my file.  The page file usage was pretty steady at 1.6GB while opening my file.  Also my files are huge, 325 channels and 250000 rows. I guess I wasnt patient enough in my previous attempts It took excel 3 hours 20 minutes to open the file.  Doing a "Save As" took another 2 hours.  I've been talking to a guy via email at NI and he suggested I check into DIAdem.

Have you uninstalled the plugin and then reinstalled it?  It sounds like the files for it were somehow removed, except for the toolbar indicators.

Hi TonP,

This happens to Excel Add-ins from time to time, and I don't know what causes it, but we have a couple of documents on the web that describe how to fix the problem.

I am using a full version of Excel 2007 and when i click on the icon to import the tdms file, i get an error which says 'USI encountered an exception (177): Error while initializing an interface'. I had no such problem when i was using a Excel 2003 version. Any pointers to solve this exceptional problem??

Hi matlabview,

I haven't seen that error before, but I have worked very successfully with the TDM Excel Addin and Excel 2007.  If you can post the TDM file that causes this problem, I will try to reproduce it and then send it on to R&D for them to adjust the Addin.
