If your OS is Windows XP x64, you may face many compatibility issues:

Se il tuo sistema operativo è Windows XP x64, NI non fornisce supporto ufficiale, e potresti incontrare diversi problemi di incompatibilità...

Trattandosi del forum internazionale, va messa anche la risposta in inglese, così se un giorno uno incontra lo stesso problema, non deve ri-postare la domanda... Smiley Wink

Riguardo il problema mi sa che non c'è scampo, ti consiglio di installare Labview in un PC con un OS diverso (XP x64 non l'hanno mai preso in considerazione seriamente)

Hi Vanny,

we maybe need some more details: is your O/S XP or Vista? In which sense you cannot install Instrument Assistant? Do you get any error message? Which software package are you trying to install? NI-VISA?

NI-VISA 4.0 is supported under XP x64 and installs Instrument Assistant.
