When starting MAX 2.2, it seems loading but it does not open. When pressing ALT-CTRL-DEL, NIMAX is shown on the tasks list but there is no button on the taskbar for MAX. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and it happens again everytime. Whats wrong?
There could be a couple of reasons why MAX 2.2 is not opening properly. I recommend that you upgrade to the new MAX 3.0. You can upgrade to the new MAX 3.0 by upgrading either your NI-DAQ driver or your NI-VISA driver.
You can install the new NI-DAQ 7.0 driver over the top of your current installation as long as it is not NI-DAQ 6.8. Otherwise, you can uninstall your NI-DAQ driver and MAX 2.2 before you install NI-DAQ 7.0. NI-MAX 3.0 will install during the NI-DAQ 7.0 installation.
If you are using the NI-VISA driver, you can install the new NI-VISA 3.0 driver. Installing NI-VISA 3.0 will also automatically install NI-MAX 3.0.

I use NI-MOTION. I already upgraded to MAX 3.0 with NI-MOTION 6. However, MAX 3.0 has many differences from MAX 2.2 (with NI-MOTION 5.2), therefore I prefer at the moment to stay with MAX 2.2 as it was, just to make it work again.
