Why NI OPC Server don't have Compactlogix 5000 as a device ?

In the device list for NI OPC server , I can't find Compactlogix 5000 series devices , there is only 5300 series devices. Why is it so ?

Try selecting CompactLogix 5300 itself from the device list and this should work.

We have tried using CompactLogix 5300 as device , but then it is not working , i.e. the tags can't be retrived from the PLC.

I have the same problem I am usign a 5345 and I can nt retreive the Tags from the PLC.

Please help
