After running a successfull TestUUT's in a custom UI. I exit my UI, then open it again and I get Error Code -17338.
See attached for detail .jpg
Collegues of mine suggest it's because I haven't closed a reference somewhere, but I have closed everything possible.
Any suggestions?

Hi Newb-D,
I did some looking on the NI website and found a knowledge base article that talks about that error. Here is a link to it:

What version of TestStand are you using? What version of LabVIEW are you using?

Perry, thank you for the reply.
I am running the latest TestStand 4.5.1.134 (2010 SP1) with LabVIEW 2010.
I do not have Calibration Executive on my machine, but I am going to try your suggestion anyway.
I am guessing the ...\\8.5\\lvrt.dll should be adjusted to whatever version of the lvrt.dll I actually have?

OK I've tried the fix for versions 8.5 and 2010 and now I can't load TestStand at all.
Here is the new error.
If you have any more suggestions...I'm willing to try them.

I believe I know why I'm getting the error, but I don't know how to fix it.
TSAutoMgr.exe seems to remain active in my Windows Task Manager after I've quit running the UI. When I run the UI the second time I get the error.
I can not generally get the error to go away until I reboot my system.
My new question: What things keep TSAutoMgr.exe active?
Windows 7
LabVIEW 2010
TestStand 2010 sp1

Hi Newb-D,
Do you have the Simple Operator Interface that ships with TestStand? In it, there is an example that shows how to close all references to the Application manager this controls TSAutoMgr.exe. Take a look at it and make sure that you are following it exactly. Also if this does not help could you post a screen shot of how you are closing your teststand references.

Perry,
Thanks for getting back to me today.
I have closed everything I know how to and compared to the Simple OI.
You mention closing the Application manager, but I don't see that happening anywhere. Do you mean closing the application, and engine, and etc...? I have never closed the "Application Manager" specifically and am not sure how.
I have attached an image of how I close things up.
Thanks,
