No, that is not possible in my case. Since the vi has "Allow user to close window" unchecked in the VI Properties, the red X in the upper right corner is disabled on both server and client windows. I can see no way to close the client window except to end the process using Windows Task Manager. That seems very drastic, and could cause problems with the server. Someone did that once without releasing control, and the server vi hung up. Selecting "Close Panel" from the menu in the lower left seems like the right thing to do, but it doesn't work if "Allow user to close window" is unchecked.
