Chances are your system temporary path is pointing to a non-existant path. Go to your System control panel, select the Advanced tab, and select Environment Variables. Check the temp path and make sure that it exists and that you have full rights to it (make sure it isn't write protected, make sure you can save files into it from another program, etc.)
