Did you mean:

Why does Lab View add control elements to some driver VI's!

Solved!
Go to solution

Then you should mark the message that told you to fix the drivers as the solution to your problem rather than marking your own thank you message.  Several people went through a lot of time and trouble to help you figure this out, the least you could do is give one of them credit for helping you solve the problem.

I thought I had given up adding any new replies on this thread, but I just noticed something, and I can't resist...

From the online readme file for this driver:

4. Revision History

The latest version of this and other LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI instrument drivers can be downloaded at the Instrument Driver Network.
REV 1.0, 12/15/11

Modified by: Wolfgang Schötz, Hoecherl-Hackl GmbH, KONZELL, DE

Original release.

From your screen name, can I assume that you are the guy who is referenced here?

If that is so, I have no clue anymore what this is all about.

  • You likely wrote, and certainly are, responsible for this driver - you're not some end user - I would think as a common courtesy to others you could have made this clear from the start.
  • The files in the zips I've downloaded all bear dates from around 15 December 2011.
  • They look like the version of the VIs you claim were modified.

I'd like to think I'm way off base here, and have made some wrong assumption.  I hope you can provide some sort of explanation.
