Why does a call to the nifgen.dll function "nifgen init" cause the pc to crash?

Hello, I am using Labview 5.1.1 and trying to call the NıFgen_32.dll function "nifgen inıt". However, when i make thıs call to the dll, the pc locks up. By locks up, I mean the monitor goes black and keyboard no longer works. You must press the reset button to reboot. I am using the NI 5431 arb card. We are doing the same thing on another pc, and it appears to work fine. I suspect it is a memory issue, but having trouble locating it. We are also using the nifgen.llb file. (I believe that is a labview library file created by ni.) We are using NiFgen version 1.0.

Does the board work in Measurement and Automation Explorer?
Have you tried upgrading the driver to NI-FGEN 1.5.1? This includes a Soft Front Panel that helps to trouble shoot the boards, and exposes the majority of the functionality of the function generator.
If you upgrade NI-FGEN you will also need to uppgrade NI-DAQ, IVI engine, NI-VISA. All of this is explained on the download page of NI-FGEN.
