Why does the abort button disappear after compilation?

At least in LV 5.0.1 this is not true, i have made lots of executables, and the abort button allways stays where it should unless (this can be a sollution) i unselect "show abort button" under VI Setup (right-clicking the icon).

Then maybe it is because i am using Labview 6i (6-imaginary buttons?), because the abort-button-option is on and also the pause-button is evaporating now..

In more recent versions of the LabVIEW Application Builder, the abort button is removed by default unless you specify otherwise when building the executable.

To change this default setting during your Build Application step, go to the VI Settings tab and change "Allow Abort" to "Yes".
