Why "Scale object with panel" option from the edit menu would cause LabVIEW 6.0.2 to crash in image.cpp at line 11472?

I was testing a very simple vi. Its front panel only contains an Active X container which is configured for "Acrobat Control for Active X". The diagram of the vi only consist of a Active X propert note which sets the "scr" property to a path of a given pdf file.

If I selected "Scale object with panel" option from the Edit menu, LabVIEW will crash upon running the vi with an error "Image.cpp in line 11472". The error would not occur if the "Scale object with panel" option is deselected.

Hello,

I tried to reproduce this problem on my computer. I have Windows 98, and I created a VI with an ActiveX Acrobat control, and I wired in a PDF path to a property node. I ran the VI (with the ActiveX control set to scale with the front panel) and did not get a crash. I also tried printing the VI (which is what usually results in the image.cpp failure) and did not get a crash. I was aware of a very similar problem occurring in LabVIEW 6.0, but it was fixed in the 6.0.2 update...please make sure you have this update installed. Also, I'd like you to change over to the standard Microsoft VGA video driver on your computer and see if the problem persists. If that fixes the problem, you may need to obtain a video driver upgrade from the manufacturer of your video ca
rd.

I hope these suggestions help. Please let me know if you continue to have any problems.

Sincerely,
