Why stand alone application asks for activation

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I created an installer for a project which uses NI VISION and I deployed it in another computer. After the installation of the application in another system, NI VISION is asking for activation code.

I have NI VISION fully licensed version installed in my computer. But in the application running on another system prompting for license activation or using an evaluation version.

So, The question is " why does the application asks for activation"??

HI Ravens Fan,

Thank you for the quick responce.

I understood that the licence is a single-seat lisencing. But, it will be too expensive to purchase lisence for every deployment. I am using VISION 2010 (of course single-seat lisence) is there any other way?

The Run-Time license is different (and less expensive) than the Development license. Your deployed application would require the Run-Time license, not the development license.
