Why wont my system find a pattern after upgrading to LabVIEW 8.6 and Vision Assistant 8.6

After upgrading my system, the IMAQ Match Pattern 2.vi doesn't seem to operate. Any ideas I might try? I have already completed a complete uninstall and reinstalled Labview and the vision development module and still no go. My other system runs this vi just fine.

Can you describe what is not working? I tried your example and it worked just fine for me. In the Matches cluster it finds my template and updates Posisiton/Bounding Box, etc. of my pattern.

Also, how are you creating your template?

Give my test image (NIOCRExample2.tif) and template (TEMPLATE_MatchPattern2.png) a try...

I tried using your image and template to no avail. Still no pattern matches. Ni engineers are working on this problem now. Thanks for the try.

Have you tried Vision Development Module 8.6.1 patch? Some issues were resolved in this patch, and it may correct any issues you're having (if you are still having any).

8.6.1 Patch

I know this patch specifically fixed some issues with pattern matching.

Thanks, Yes I've tried that as well. I believe my computer is at fault somehow. I will be getting a new one shortly. Hopefully that will alleviate my problems.
