Hi Krisna,
when I unplug cable, it shows wireless network is connected, from available wireless network list I can see the SSID is exactly the same as I set in wireless configurations in MAX, the wireless IP settings refer to wireless configurations in MAX. it shows in MAX wireless settings.jpg I sent before. You may send email to yiyiisbeauty@yahoo.com.sg so we can talk further until the problem is settled.
Thanks.

Sorry for late update. Yes. I have received your email. currently it's difficult to uplooad screenshot. and I think the screenshot of what you need I have posted before, pls refer to wireless newtwork IP auto.jpg, wireless connected.jpg and My wireless settings.jpg.
I think I have mentioned clearly in my last reply, it says my wifi wireless connection is connected(SSID is NIWiFiDAQ1 in available wireless network connection list as shown in
wireless connected.jpg) when I unplug ethernet cable from laptop, no idea for it's IP since wireless IP of my Wi-Fi was set to automatic as shown in wireless newtwork IP auto.jpg I sent before. but wireless connection (my Wi-Fi)testing failed in MAX.
This wireless Wi-Fi application is on hold since I have other assignment. I may continue this Wi-Fi study in future time. thanks for your continuous support.

Hi Suanleba,
There is two things that you mixed up:
1. Wired configuration
- purpose: to configure the WLS-9163
- IP wired set to auto
2. Wireless configuration.
- purpose: to create static IP (e.g. 192.168.1.100) and broadcast SSID
- IP wireless set to static
The step by step to configure your WLS-9163 is:
- in your computer, create wireless static IP (e.g. 192.168.1.100) and broadcast SSID
- connect PC-WLS9163 with ethernet cable with wired IP set to auto. You should be detecting WLS9163 in MAX after the connection become limited connectivity.
- configure WLS9163 in MAX, set the wireless setting into "static" (e.g. 192.168.1.22) and assign to the SSID that you had set at first step. (notice that the WLS9163 has different IP address but the same subnet with the computer).
- apply the changes and you should be connected to the SSID. To double check, check your computer IP again, whether has the same subnet with WLS9163 or not.
- unplug the ethernet cable, you should be able to see WLS9163 by now. If not, try restart MAX.
Follow this exactly and you should be fine.
Sincerely,
Krisna Wisnu
