Will Labview ver 6.1 or 7 (for Windows) run on AMD Athlon based PCs with 64 bit processors

Considering the purchase of a new 64 bit AMD Athlon PC running Windows XP - need to know if Labview will run on it without bugs before buying

LabVIEW (6.1 or 7) was not designed to run on a 64-bit system. LabVIEW will not necessarily run faster on the 64-bit processor, but it is likely that it will run (along with your other 32-bit programs on XP). We cannot say that it will not have bugs.
