Will the LabView6.1 application run on LabView7 flawlessly?

I create the Labview application program using version 6.1. Will I be able to run this program on LabView7(latest version) without any modification?

I don't know about "flawlessly"... ;o)

But so far, I can't complain about using LV6.1i vi's and continuing their development using LV7.0.

Should be a smoothe transition.

Hi,

LabVIEW 7 is backward compatible. There are of course many changes in it but you should still be able to use your LabVIEW 6.1 application in LabVIEW 7.0.

The best way to test this in to install the evaluation version of LabVIEW and try to run your application on it. Please make sure that you have a backup copy of your application.
