Ok issue with my LabVIEW exe that is running on a Windows 7 host computer. It was compiled in 8.6.1 (hearsay I know) and I don't have the option to go to 2009-2012 for various reasons I will not get into right night now.
But I am having troubles with it where the communication and processes will freeze during operations.
But I have found some workarounds 1. by changing the priority in the windows task manager to "real time" I get better performance out of the program, but it also helps to set all of the NI services to be "real time priority"
2. I have found that if I install an older Intel Pro10/100 Ethernet card this helps
So what I am writing to ask is if anybody knows a good way to make 8.6.1 more stable in Win7
Also if anybody knows how to programatly set NI services and my exe to be the systems highest priority.
Thanks

Is your NI-VISA compatible with both Win7 and LV 8.6.1? Even though it's not an officially supported combo, this might be enough to get you by.
