Working with Video input

I am working on LabVIEW 2015 (32 bit). I am trying to convert a video input to the text or to byte array. How can I do this?

Hi pooja94,

It is hard to offer support for your problem without having a few additional details about your setup. For example, what video protocol are you using? Are you using a USB connection, or some other kind of connector (Firewire, ethernet, etc.)? It would also be helpful to know what specific camera hardware you are working with.

NI authors a program called NI Vision Acquisition Software (VAS) that is designed to help users interface with a wide array of cameras using LabVIEW or other supported platforms. Alternatively, NI also provides a subset of the VAS functionality for free. The NI-IMAQ drivers may be able interface with your camera, however, it is impossible to know without more details about your specific hardware.

Once the camera data is ported into LabVIEW, it should be trivial to convert the input into your desired representation. However, once again, more details would be necessary for anyone to offer application-specific assistance.

Are you talking about "character recognition"?  Your question is a little too vague to know how to help.  You should also consider attaching your code (VIs, please, no pictures of block diagrams) so we can better understand your situation.

Sounds like a duplicate of this question, except that this is video and the other was sound.
