Write/read in memory vi for NT.

Hi,

I'm using LV 5.0. The labview advanced functions "In port.vi" and "Out
port.vi" allow me to write and read a memory register BUT only using
w95 as O.S. Do you know where I can find a funtion that also work with
Windows NT 4.

TIA

Yes! I had this problem. What you want is AccessHW_5 which has the
relevant vis; outport, inport etc. You unpack the zip and run the setup
program. This will result in a vi library which you should put somewhere
in your Nat. Inst. directory structure (or anywhere else if you like).
Be careful not to get confused between the old vis and the new ones; I
changed the icons of the old inport and outport vis to try not to get
mixed up.

Unfortunately I can't attach the file (a zip file with all relevant
parts) as it's too big for me to post, but you may be able to get it on
the Nat. Inst web site or contact me and I will send a copy.

best regards,

Seb James
