Wrong Run Time Engine Comes with SW Update

If you loook at your Sound Input Level VI, you will see you are using some VI's from NI to acquire the input sound.  The is a Write function which takes a waveform as an input.  Use the sine wave signal generation VI and use the sound card VIs to write that data.

Not sure I quite get your idea yet.

Sound Input Level.vi is to measure the sound card input signal.

I need one to control Sound Card Output. I have been having problem with the volume control for the output signal. I can control the waveform. ut the example for volume control, Sound Output Set Volume.vi in lvsound2.llb comes with Labview, is not usable for me right now. The volume control is a scale of 0 ~ 100 integer. it is not  accurate enough for me and I found it has no linearity in its scale. There is another SO Volume.vi in lvsound.llb. But there is no explanation of what number range it is. And it seems it can not be mixed with lvsound2's vi and I haven't found an example to build one with this library yet.
