XY GRAPH - averaging one signal only.

Hi ALL,

I doing the Force Plot. Basic XYGraph (LVDT vs Force). I'd like to average LVDT signal due to high noise (or maybe there is better method to eliminate it). Force Cell seems to be OK in term of noise so I would rather keep it untouched as I don't want to lose any date (force spikes).

Is it possible to avg only LVDT signal not both?

I have attached VI and jpg. files.

Hi,

You could use the "mean PtByPt" function to do a moving average. You will need to put the VI in a For loop and use the indexing. With that, you will keep the same number of samples on both signals
