Is the line the problem? Do you just want to see dots? What version of LabVIEW?
I saved my VI back to 8.0 thus; it can’t be opened in anything before this. The only thing of interest I did was convert a Decimal String to a number so it could be displayed in an XY Graph.

Hi Charlie
The problem is when I download "Untitled2.vi" and I open with my Labview its appeared:
"An error occured loading VI 'Untitled2.vi'. Labview load error code 9: VI version (8.0) is newer than Labview version (7.0)."
What i need to do to open this VI file with my labview?. Fyi, right now i'm using Labview 7.0 express.

You need to upgrade Labview! Version 7.0 is quite a few years old.![]()
Most versions of Labview can only save back to 1 previous version. (LV 8.5 can save back 2 versions to LV 8.0). You can't open a newer VI in an older version. Thus why you can't open an 8.0 file in 7.0.
If someone has LV 8.0, they can save it back to 7.1. Then if they have 7.1, they can save back to 7.0.
Easiest is to recreate from the attached screenshot.

Thanks raven. Its works with my Labiew after i recreated. Only the version it makes i unable to open this file.
Can u help me, that i need to build 'dummy data' like some database, and display to graph? The 'dummy data' have 2 input which x and y with random value. Then this random value will be display at the graph. I'm glad if u can help me or anyone in this thread. I think the random value can create by table. Need some help and guideline from you and others.
Thanks & Regards
